2. Phytolacca octandra L., Sp. Pl. ed. 2: 631 (1762); POWO (2021). – Phytolacca octandra var. grandifolia Moq., in A.P.de Candolle, Prodr. 13(2): 32 (1849). Native of tropical America. Introduced to Indonesia to Sumatra and Java.
